ABOUT THE BLOG

The Open Championship, Hoylake, 2014.

Tiger was returning from his first back surgery.  Rory held off Sergio and Rickie, to claim his first Claret Jug.  And Stu met Jack…

Friendship grew between two young lads at the beginning of their greenkeeping careers.

Now working just 20 minutes from each other, they collaborate on BIGGA committees and the annual Bunker Camp at Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course.

Stu and Jack always aim to look on the bright side, making everything they do positive and enjoyable.  Turf’s Up is their way of discussing many of the issues affecting the brilliant people within their industry, but also looking at broader topics within the great game of golf.

And by having a bit of fun with it, they hope their lighthearted take on serious (and sometimes not so serious) issues will make this information accessible to the wider golfing community.
